See available memory and system pressure alongside swap use and detected same-user agent trees. Resident memory excludes compressed pages and isn’t a physical-footprint measurement.

  • Leave 4 GiB for the systemHeadroom subtracts a 4 GiB system reserve before estimating additional agents. The estimate drops to zero if swap is in use or memory pressure rises.

Will this prevent swapping?

No capacity number guarantees that. Agent workloads and other apps can grow.

Will it detect every agent?

No. Detection recognizes supported native executable names and can miss script-hosted or unknown agents.
